I think this a tulip peeping out of the ground. It's some sort of bulb plant that we put in the planter during the fall. I love when they start popping up. It's like magic.

A painting that hangs in our dining room. My brother, Eric, painted this back in 2007. I really like it.

I stripe of my giant candy cane I got for Christmas. I like the twirl design of candy canes. It's fun.

I have a tiny supply of light bulbs that I keep in my closet. And yes that really is a black light.

The corner of the ostrich egg shell decoration that my friend gave me many, many years ago.

What You Do

Today was a holiday so there was no work or school for most people. I watched Australian Open tennis and hung out with friends.

Something You Saw

Today I saw lots of people compliment my shoes. I always get lots of compliments from people when I wear these heels. Girls as well as guys say they like my shoes. It never fails. Every time I where them I get a comment. I do love them. They are awesome heels.

Delicious

My lunch today consisted of salad and a handful of carrots. It's was really yummy.

Thursday is sort of my Friday so I usually watch a movie and stay up later. Which includes making popcorn.

Two Things

Two pairs of red shoes. One are Apt 9 heels. The other are Converse sneakers. I love them both.

An Ordinary Moment

An ordinary moment. ... Hmm. ... Reading in bed is an ordinary moment. I like to read before I go to sleep because it focuses my mind on one thing and calms it so that I can sleep. I keep a book of short stories on my night stand all the time. I read a story or two when I'm between books or I'm just way to tired to read my current-read. When my current-read isn't travelling with me during the day it also is on my nightstand.

Something Yellow

I needed some sunshine today. So I painted my nails 'Mellow Yellow' from Sally Hansen.

Circle

This is my wreath hanging on my bedroom door. Someday it will go on my house door. But since I don't own a house it goes here. I made a tissue paper flower once because I was bored. And while cleaning my room a while ago I stuck it in and it hasn't left. I like the one white flower. It's fun.

Surprise

Colorful confetti is fun and surprising.

Water

I wasn't very inspired by this prompt today. Yes there is tons on water in the form of snow outside right now but I couldn't seem to find a good shot today.

So here is my water cup this evening.

One O'clock

At 1pm today I was eating lunch. I really wanted good pizza so I ordered a Papa John's pizza. It was really yummy. I also ordered some of their delicious parmesan breadsticks.

Paper

When I'm really bored and I have scrap piece of paper I'll more then likely make a paper crane. I make the kind that can flap their wings. I have a collection of various sized paper cranes in a large vase on top one of my taller bookshelves.

Something Beginning With "T"

Text from my book I was reading today. I am about halfway done and I just started a few days ago.

Street

It's winter and very cold. This patch of ice/snow has been on the road for a while now.

Mine

This is my baby doll. She doesn't have a name. I think the name she had the longest period of time was Rebecca. I remember mostly just calling her Baby. I got her for Christmas from Santa when I was very young. I do remember getting her but I don't think I was in school. So I must have been four or five. She is mine and maybe someday she'll be given to my daughter.

Movement

I had a hard time with this one. I just couldn't think of how to photograph movement.

So as I was watching 'Doctor Who' I saw the worm hole warp I knew I liked it for today's prompt. But I'm not very good at taking action shots so this is what you get.

P.S. I might take another photo soon. Because I just don't know how I feel about that shot. It could be so much better.

The View From Here

This is the view from my bedroom door looking in. My room is all nice and clean. I like it this way. Let's see how long it stays that way. lol.

Heart

Today I had 'Les Misérables' stuck in my head. I listened to this musical a lot today. I listened to the 25th Anniversary version which I thought was good. Then I listened to a select few of Marius' songs from the Original London Cast. I love Michael Ball as Marius. His voice just fits so perfectly. Right now as I type this I pretty much have "A Heart Full Of Love" looped in my head. lol. I have to listen to it or else it will be stuck there for a while.

Something New

A new year and a new day. As I was walking out to my car this morning to go to work the sun was so pretty shining through the trees.

Today

Every first of the year my parent's take us out to dinner. It's a tradition that my brothers and I always forget about. lol. This year we were going to go to Texas Roadhouse but they had an hour and half wait. We should have made reservations beforehand but we didn't. So we ended up going to Red Robin. Which is so okay with me. I love their hamburgers and fries. It was really yummy.
